Principles
Useful
A product must earn its place. It must solve a real pain, save time, or make life a bit easier.
Straightforward
Easy to understand and to use. Clear language, sensible flows, good defaults, and as little friction as possible.
Respectful
Respect for privacy, time, and attention. No data collection. No tracking. No attention traps.
